З 8 квітня 2017 року у Києві у рамках пасхальних святкувань проходить VII Всеукраїнський фестиваль писанок загальною кількістю 585 експонатів. На Софійській площі в столиці колекція писанок налічує 374 авторських писанок-на найрізноманітнішу тематику. Крім того, експонати у 

рамках фестивалю представлені і на Володимирському проїзді, де проходить Пасхальний ярмарок. На Михайлівській площі розташована зона дитячих розваг, де також зібрані 100 дитячих писанок і 111 традиційних експонатів. В парку"Володимирська гірка" розміщена лаунж-зона, зона майстер-класів, ярмарок живопису.

Festival of Easter eggs holds on Sofiivska square in Kyiv (08-23, April 2017)

On April 8, the festival of Pysanka (Easter egg) started in Kyiv. The festival will take place in three locations - Sofiivska and Mykhailivska Square, as well as Volodymyrskyi Passage. The event will last until April 23.

This year a record number of 585 different Easter eggs will be presented.
On Sofiivska Square organizers will place 374 author's eggs, and in Volodymyrskyi  Passage - 100. On Mykhailivska Square 111 eggs created by children will be presented.

Also at the festival will be shown private collections of Easter eggs of outstanding artists and the Museum with thematic ice sculptures. Within the framework of the event, they will hold master classes on the painting of Easter eggs.

A children's town will be located on Mykhailivska Square, on the territory of which more than 10 attractions will be installed, in particular a Ferris wheel and a labyrinth of huge pencils.
